Quick detach windshield and head light problems.

Quick detach windshield and head light problems.
Hey all,
I was wondering if anyone else has had or still has this problem and if so you did you fix it???
I have an 07 Street Bob with the Harley Quick Detach Windshield installed with stock head light. I rode last night at night for the first time ( Not by choice ). The stock light ( bulb ) is less than desirable for light out put and I have found suggestions to fix that. Any way I rode with my hi beam when I could and the windshield sticks out just far enough to capture some light and reflect it back making it almost impossible to see with the hi beam on. Can this be fixed with a trim ring or visor ??? I like the look of the smaller stock light and do not want to install a bullet style light. Any suggestions for making the stock light work??
Thanks
Joe

RE: Quick detach windshield and head light problems.
I installed a HD trim ring on my Dyna headlight before I put a different headlight on it. This was also before I purchase a windshield. It extended the front edge of the headlight out about an inch which should be enough to help with your issue.
