Does anyone know if the HD braided crossover line is any longer than stock? I have a 2" tank lift and the stock crossover is rubbing into the frame a little. I'm afraid that over time, this will wear to the point of springing a leak.
Any other aftermarket vendors to look into for custom braided fittings? I would rather replace with a braided line than patch up the stock hose.
i doubt the braided x-over will work with a 2" tank lift. I have the braided on a 05, and there is not even close to enough room between the hose and frame to add a lift.
I saw some other braided x-overs on ebay a while back. they seemed very long - maybe too long, and also were pricey - $60-70 if I remember correctly.

There are two HD braided lines hugger.
One is longer than the other,
not sure if either is longer than what you have now.
The length of the line is not really your problem,
it is the angle of the crossover tubes as they leave the tank.
They should point more downward for clearance.
There was a thread here on this issue a few daze ago.
I remember that discussion now.....Didn't you mention something about bending the nipples outward some for clearance? Maybe I will go this route if I can muster up the ***** to do it. I will also check with harley to see about their longer offering.
