Will be glad to - as long as the dealer pays for it and installs it. Otherwise, I just want my black one back in good shape.
They will probably say it is supposed to be like that. - as funny as this sounds it's the God's honest truth!
They really aren't that kind of dealer. Overall I've been happy with them and think they will actually do right be me if they think this may have been caused by a tech. Now, will they replace it with a chrome one? Probably not. LOL
When I first looked at the pic I thought it was probably caused by your lady friend's heel.....then I saw your sig pic,
and well....thats pretty compelling evidence.

Haha - if she were real and if she did it, I'd just smile and keep on riding. Seriously, though, no shoe or boot did this. The pictures don't do justice to just how hard something would have to scrape to make that mark that deep.
It's a shame when you have to do a detailed walk through on your bike when picking it up from service. I just can't think of any other way this could have happened. But, then, since I can't say 100% or even prove it if I could, I'll have to live with what they say. Lesson learned either way.
A good lesson at that and could have been a lot worse. Not sure I'd want them fixing it in any case - better off doing it yourself but perhaps they'll throw in the touch up paint!
