Hi All,
Now that I live in an apartment enviorment I need to lock my bike up. It is currently garaged right now but its a pain to get it, ride it and then drive home in my own vehicel. so I went to the harley shop and found a few things.
The DISK LOCK with the reminder cord.
The big *** security lock they have that can wrap around the frame and a pole.

Just wondering what would be best? I dont want my bike to be rolled away and taken. I understand if someone wants something they will find away to get take it.
I am thinking that the alarm is not enough and I will need a lock of some kind.
Any help would be great.

I'd say #2 the "....big *** security lock..."
Like you said, if somebody really wants it. it's just too easy to have a tow truck or 4 guys with 2 pipes/ 2X4's to make off with your bike. Stolen away to someplace where they can part out the bike (most likely)or defeat the alarm/disc lock. Locking it to a not movable object is the better option. Of course all that's needed to defeat that is cutters/torch. Full coverage insurance and additional riders on the policy(if needed) for all your options,are you best bet. IMHO.
