Just picked up 2016 Road Glide. This is my first bike with the security system built in and I hate this big *** fob. I already have a keyless entry remote for my car on my keyring and now I have to carry this stupid thing with me. What I'm wondering is does anyone make a smaller fob that I can use with the factory system? I don't want to disable or bypass the security system but if there aren't any other options that may be what I end up doing
But what you can do is separate your car keys to your bike keys and have no issues. My MC keys are never together with my car keys. Makes no sense to have both since Im riding my bike.
Or another option is to leave the fob in your Saddle bag and lock your ignition everytime you leave your bike. Just dont forget to lock it or it will get stolen

when i'm riding, my car keys are at the house. when i'm driving, my bike keys are at the house....
I don't get why people want to walk around with a huge glob of keys in their pockets
Quit yer bitchin and ride. Leave your car keys at home. Lock the FOB somewhere on the bike, and hope the ignition key is good enough security. But, I wonder what your insurance company will do if your bike is stolen and you can't provide the Fob as proof the security was on.
Such a first world problem. I have separate key rings for all my vehicles- Car, Truck, Boat, Harley. I take the key ring I need for that vehicle, leave the rest at home.
Problem solved?

No kiddin'. Folks talk about the fob as if it's a five-ton millstone.
