Power Commander
Newbie here...I'm thinking on upgradingthe stock air intake and exhaust on my Fat Bob myself, because when I talk to the stealers they seem to want to hose me with unnecessary labour costs, parts, etc...Anyway, I'm looking to circumvent the need to go to the dealer and have my EFI remapped when I put on SE air intake and Rush slip-ons...does the Power Commander IIIgive me the correct fuel/air ratio I'll need, without going to theDealer?
Thanks,
Rob of the Fat Bob

They have maps you can down load. I bought mine from fuel moto on b-bay. When you buy it tell Jamie what your upgrades are and he can send it to you already mapped. Thats the way I worked it. I bought PC and a K&N 3909 and told him what headers I was using. Bike runs great.

The quick answer is yes. The technical answer is "correct fuel/air ratio" is very vague. The Power Commander in itself will not do any thing without the correct Map loaded for your application. Go to DynoJets website and check out their library of existing maps to see if one fits your particular set-up. Also you could possibly find someone here with the same set-up as you and be willing to share their Map. Ultimately you would want to have your bike dyno tuned and a Map created for your individual set-up. If you have not purchased your PCIII yet I would strongly advise you get it from Fuel Moto ...

They will pre-load your PC with the Map you need(providing they have the same set-up already) their library is extensive and their customer sevice is excellent.
