I was wondering if i could mount a 150 rear tire with out any changes or do i have buy the 500 dollar kit. thanks.

Doubt it. Had a '99 FXDX and mounted a 140 with no problem but it was a snug fit. The 99's had the wider belt. Maybe someone has tried it.

hasany one gone to the 150 tire and had any issues with it rubbing

Don`t know about 1999 Dyna but in my 2001 FXD I had 150 rear tire without ANY mods.

I just put a Metzeler 140/90HB-16 on my 99 FXDX this August. As others have said, it is a close fit but works - no rubbing. I doubt a 150 would work without modifications.

so if i go with a 140 is it possible to lower the rear end at all i went to a wide glide bob tail fender so i have some clearance im just worried aboutscrapin over bumps
