Default changing mag to spoke

Hey all,I got some aftermarket mags on my '06 dyna... and i'm interested in buying spoked rims for it....If I buy the rims from harley, will it include the 1 inch bearings, or do I need to buy them separately?

Thanks

The wheels you buy should bolt right up.

I've got an '06 WG with the upgraded "smooth" spoked wheels. I'd consider a trade. Got any pics?

I bought cast wheels from HD - everthing was included - I'd guess spokes would be the same.

nah, you don't want these, marcss... they're in pretty rough shape... scratched and rusted... previous owner seriously didn't take care of them... that's really the reason why i'm getting rid of them... i've had a few guys already come to check them out, and looked at me like, "why'd you even buy the bike?" ... i guess they were thinking that if he let the rims go, then the rest of the bike might be as bad... rides fine, though...but has nearly 20k on it ...i figure it's a good starting point for a project....and a money pit, no doubt

anyway, thanks for the info glide05!

I just changed my 95 Dyna from aluminum wheels to spokes. You'll need to get spoked wheels for the newer 1" axles, as the older ones are 3/4". That's not a problem if you plan on buying them from HD.

You'll also need to make sure you get a front wheel for a 39mm front end, as a WG front wheel in the same 19" or 21" wheel has a wider hub.

My spacers needed to be slightly modified as well, but that was due to changing from Timken bearings(greasable) to sealed bearings (which you already have) ......

I also used aftermarket spoke wheels, and not parts directly from HD. Between Ebag and swapmeets, I found what I needed.

I'll go find the "New Member" section now, and go introduce myself......

There is a set of Wide Glide spokes on eBay now. They are being listed for the second time. The starting price was $300.00, with a buy it now of $650.00. They are take-offs with low miles. May be worth watching as they should work on your ride with no mods.
