Default Need closer handlebars or gonna sell!
I have a 06 superglide custom. Nice bike but... the bars are about 2-3 inches to far forward for me. I need to change the bars or else sell it for comfort reasons. Any ideas? I was told the Heritage bars are a possible solution by the dealer. To me the bars have to fit right. I am 5ft 9 must have short arms. Need a solution.

I have a 06 superglide custom. The bars are 3 inches too far forward. I need them back a bunch. The dealer said Heritage bars will work any help will be appreciated. If I can't the bike to feel good I'm selling.

Check EBAY for an arm stretcher...hard to find but well worth the effort...:&gt

Have the same problem with my 05 Ford Escape, gonna sell it

Might try pull-back risers, worked for me (not on the Ford)

use some apes you can psh them forward or pull back as much as u want for comfort. i got 16" chubbies now i sit straight up and im not hunched over so now i dont have anymore back pains

You don't need to sell your bike for comfort. Get some miniapes stock Wideglide bars are a great fit. Go to your dealer and sit on one. I think you will like the feel. It's like night & day..You'll be able to ride for hours with way less fatique.While your at it you might as well get some forward controls and you will be set..
