"F" and later series cover the 96 c.i. with 02 sensors. "E" covered the 88 c.i. with 02 sensors ('06 Dynas)

I'm running Cal ID 141NX104 in my 06 Street Bob (TC88). I can't say that the decel popping improved much, if at all over the 'cartridge' download. I tried a couple other files off the CD with even worse results. Finally got fed up/lost interest and haven't touched it since. It would appear you really have to jack with the canned files to get them where they need to be. Either that or get a Dyno. In any case, I can't be bothered...

There are LOTS of posts about SERT use in this forum: Electrical/Ignition/Tuner/ECM/Fuel Injection

Maybe I'm thinking of this too simple-like... but it seems like if you keep the A/F ratio between 11.5 and 13.5 you ought to be doing better than the canned... The canned stays over 14.1 from what I've heard for all the EPA stuff.

You can adjust it how you want, but it is better if done on a dyno. I am running 159AE003-A1 on my '07 WG with Ness Big Sucker and Vance and Hines BSS. Change the .txt extension to .MT6 to look at it with the SERT tuning program. I will be getting it on a Dyno this coming January.

Decel popping has nothing to do with the air/fuel ratio anywhere other than at zero throttle and low manifold absolute pressure. Your bike might be running pig rich at cruise or while accelerating and still pop when you decelerate. Decrementingdecel enleanment ( making it richer ) with the race tuner will get rid of the popping. I decremented mine a little more than Airborne did, but it's kind of a trial and error setting depending on what exhaust you have. Decel enleanment is engine temperature based, so youneed to know about what temp your engine is at when you get the popping. If the engine is fully warmed up, you're in the 112-144° C range.

Airborne, I posted it here yesterday, clear at the bottom of the thread.
https://www.hdforums.com/m_2490422/m...tm.htm#2492377
This is the map from the v4.6.2 software.

I'm running cal 67 from the v4.7.6 software now. The decel enleanment table is a little different, but I'm running essentialy the same numbers. Let me know if you want to see it.

The v4.7.6 CD is about $20 and is part number 32117-01L. Calibration 67 is now 176AE104-A0. The air-fuel table is now closed loop at low rpm and high MAP, both VE tables are a little different (mostly slightly lower numbers), less timing at low-mid rpm and high MAP, IAC warmup steps are less at 0 and -16°, separate closed loop bias tables for front and rear, more accel enrichment, more decel enleanment at lower temperatures. And it takes about twice as long to download to the ECM.
