Winter blues
Already here in NY we have snow on the ground and temps in the 30's. The chances of being able to ride again until late March will be few if any. Bought my 07 Superglide Custom in June and put 6000 miles on it and now I have to wait until the 1st of April before I can really ride again. They put salt on the roads here like it's free. Just wondered if anyone else is feeling the same way. Better start working on the trailer so I can haul it to warmer ground to ride.
We got a couple of inches in Elmira last night. I'm hoping to ride on Thursday though. I'll ride in the cold as long as it's dry. Last year I was able to ride up to Jan. then I took the bike apart for the rest of the winter. No money for mods. this year so as long as it's dry I'm riding.
Yeah, I'm in WI and have seen snow 2X but nothing on the ground. I keep hoping for one more warm day to ride. I know I am in denial and probably should change the oil and put a cover over the bike and call it good, but.......................... There is only one month of the year that I have not ridden and that is December. I was hoping to break that one this year
Brrrrrr -> Think 'global warming' - same kind of late Nov/early Dec last year but January warmed nicely (for a few days anyway!)

+1, winter sucks - but it freezes out many of the undesirables <grin>

Same here Bro! Right now the weather up here in MA is just a hair too cold to ride (actually snowed for a few minutes today) & I keep hoping thewe'll have just one more decent weather day!I just can't bring myself to cover her just yet...probably should just call it a season though, huh?
