Does anyone have the newer Screamin Eagle Slip-Ons on there bike? I was thinking of getting them for my wife's SB, she doesn't want it too loud and the price is reasonable.
My brother has them on his Street Bob. In stock form they made VERY little difference. I removed the fiberglass sound deadener they still arent very loud....but very pleasant.
I have been running them for 5,000 miles and they are louder than stock by far...( If you tune the bike right.. Not just stick them on ) They took awhile to burnin some but they have a good tone to them and there still in stock form .. Shoot a pm to Airborne350as another referance on how mine sound with the bike tuned.. I think you'll find a diffrent answer than the above statements... Just loud gets old.. Check out the reinharts slip on's also....
Thanks ... I've only had it three weeks... I'll get some better pic's soon.. I've lowered it another 1" and done the A/C and some other stuff since this pic so I need to take some new ones..
To each his/her own but, if I were going to drop the money on a full stage 1, I'd go with some pipes with a little more rumble to them than 07 SE's. I've known 3 different people that bought those pipes and all 3 took them off and put something else on pretty quick - 2 bought Rush instead.
Stage 1 isnt tuneing the bike.. Getting some Air/fuel to the Injectors makes a big differance in the way a bike sounds... IF yer looking for loud the rushes are louder...
