Default SB Headlight Extension

Anyone have a headlight extension on the FXDB?
Where you found one and a part number would be nice.
Any wire issues?
Thanks

Read this link before you do anything:

https://www.hdforums.com/m_2489859/tm.htm

and triple check your wiring is correct before buttoning everything up.

Not sure why you need an extention - the headlight cable is one of the bundles that has the most slack. If you tug gently on itcoming out of the neck, it will give you as much as another 8 inches if you need it.

Not sure if this is what you're looking for twofish, but this is the Headwinds headlight mount I installed with my new powder coated 5-3/4 headlight - no issues on install as long as your headlight has a bottom mount two prongy thingy. Moves headlight up and out as per specs in link:

Same mount with stock headlamp with visor added. The original trim ring makes a nice inner trim for your breather.

Good Luck

Tom

I put that same headlight mount on my StBob, moved the headlight oout just right so I don't get any glare on the windsheild riding at night

Would you happen to have a side shot of the a/c with the headlight trim ring on there? Was thinking of doing the same thing with my trim ring.
