Default 412s

I know...."this subject has been beaten to death" but want to make sure before I drop the cash. Has anyone had problems with bottoming out with the 11 inch progresive shocks on a newer Superglide (07)?

Ditto on the 11" 412s. Also have the Progressive front lowering kit. No bottoming out. But I don't weight much.

I stayed with 12's on mine. Only weigh 160 but really didn't want to change the geometry of the bike although I did think about it.

No problems bottoming out for me with 11 inch 412 Heavy duties. They are a MUCH harsher ride than the stockers though. I had the unfortunate experience of them blowing out and then putting the stocks back on while Progressive sent me a new set. IMHO the handling was much better with the stock length on...

I have an 05' FLDLI. I changed the stock shocks out for Progressive 412's (12" eye to eye). According to Progressive that was the stock replacement length for the LowRider. My stock shocks also measured 12" eye to eye. I started toinstallthe 11" 412's but was afraid of lower the rear too much and bottoming out. I have had no such issues with the 12" ers.
