RonnR, You been around too longI remember when I first got my Dyna........... I didn't know **** about who to ask, or what to do.
All I knew was you better take it to, or buy from HD because if you didn't the warranty would be voided.
The HD Winter air for my front tire is still on back order from last year.

I've felt bad sincemy first post in this thread. Your absolute right, Its a learning process, that takes time. And we all grow with knowledge.. If someone has a problem, that someone else has experienced, then there is trully not a better place for HD info than here.
Still sometimes it seems that some ask questions, because they dont want to research it for them selfs.. Sometimes its more valuable to see whats behind that inspection plate, by inspecting it...You know what I mean..
However, all in all, I was wrong for being rude with DanielBoone,, and to DanielBoone I say 'I am sorry,, Welcome to the forum Youcan learn a lot here',, I mean A LOT....
As Trotter said the stock replacement is #1499, their HiPerformance is #3909. Both wil fit your stock football, the HiPerformance comes with a replacement back plate, but still allows you to keep the stock cover...
Again 'sorry'
