I have a 99 fxdx 88in twin cam i wanted to get a mikuni carb i plan on doing the 95 kit in a year or so. i was wondering what size would work best

42 will work great with it.45 would be to much carb.i had a 42 on a 80 inch evo it was more then plenty

The 45 will work well, with over 10.5 comp. and cams with bigger HP in mind like the HQ 0033 cam or Woods TW-9. (the gears are spinning as I type)!
the 42 is the better overall choice fordaily rider with mild cams and lower compression.
