bendr, pick up a cheap PC.
Make sure it has enough memory etc.
Put it in the garage.
I hear that Vista is not compatible with a lot of the older software.
Have you tried to install it on Vista? I doubt it will hurt anything to try.If that doesn't work pick up a cheap computer or even a spare OS and set it up to multi boot. You don't have any friends with an old laptop? When I got my laptop I got an option of getting a free Vista upgrade, I still haven't felt the urge to run down to Best Buy and pick that up.
special ed, no i haven't purchased it yet. i put the brakes on buying it today when on the very last line of the add said "not for windows vista". although it said that i was wondering if anyone else here has tried to use it on vista?
Search down in the "Electrical/Ignition/Tuner/Ecu/etc" forum. I believe it was discussed and someone had a work around using Vista. I didn't soak it in cause I ain't got no Vista.

How about running XP on Microsoft Virtual PC?
You can download it from Microsoft. It's free.
Another alternative is VMware Workstation. It has better support for network and more than Virtual PC.
I have both Virtual PC an VMware on my laptop. Main OS is XP and Irun Vista and Server 2003 as aditionaloperating systems with no problems. I'm about to get a new laptop with Vista as mainOS and then I'll run XPand Server 2003 in Virtual PC or VMware (have to find out whichcombination that works best).
