Default Injector

Hi Everybody,
Has anybody experienced any problems with the back cylinder injector (Dyna SG 06). Had a engine check light come on, I took it to the dealer and he said the back injector is in the process of greeting. I have only done 9800 km's.

Greeting from a sunny South Africa

What is the fault # sal??

And, what is "the back injector is in the process of greeting"??

A wild guess,

you probably got a broke wire.

Greetings,
mud

Hi Mud,
The technician coupled the computor onto the bike. He said to me this is a known problem, probaly the complete unit is retiring. the rason i say so is because they must order another one. This is all I was told. Nothing of the wire was mentioned.

regards

I'm with mud. The wire to my back injector broke on my 06 Street Bob. Service Manager said it was 'a semi common' problem. He'd seen them on all models.

I'm with Mud too. Common fault unfortunately.

Check power from coil to injector and signal from ECU to injector.
