Sons of the Confederacy plates here....Got em on my truck and now they have them for bikes...
While it's true the southern states lost the War of Northern Aggression...I'm still proud as hell that my Great Grandfather and Great Uncles fought at the Battle of Chicamonga and I had one uncle killed during the Battle of Petersburg...
And even though we lost...if you follow your politics...the south has dominated both the House and the Senate almost since the reformation...Southern Democrats (dixiecrats) mostly stayed in office 40 to 50 years...
Hey Mudpuddlle, I love your slogan about the war, but you need to change it to read "we fought a war with Mexico AND WON"
(us Texans are like that)
Go to the Texas website and click on "motor vehicle registration" and click on "personalized license plates" and then you design you own from about 20 different backgrounds and then you decide on what you want on it, and it tells you instantly if it is available. If it is, it shows you a picture of what it will look like. If you want it, you can pay online with a credit or debit card and it will be there in about 14 working days, ready to pick up.
Cost is $40.00 per year for the "God Bless America" plate with normal numbers if you don't want personalized.
Personalized is another $40.00 per year, foratotal of $80.00 per year plus your normal registration fee. When you get the new plate they pro-rate it. My other plate was due to expire in March. Now it is October (I don't know why) and I paid an additional $18.80 today for the additional months.
