Ok I got my Bike 10/20/04Thefactory warranty should have expired 10/20/06 and my extended warranty for three more years is supposed to kick in 10/20/06 to 10/20/09 ?? I think I got it now.. I think thay are trying to pull somthing......

my example of the warranty didn't come out right should be 11/10/05 to 11/10/07. It appears you have the jest of it now. If your dealer in lanta won't handle it how about the one on the south side of chattanoga. good luck.

Did you get a 3yr extended or 1yr extended with 3yrs total? If you got a 3yr extended for a total of 5yrs they are definitely yanking your chain. Tell us about your pipes, mods, tuning, etc.

I can't really comment on the warranty issue, I would never buy an extended warranty. It's just a way for the MOCO to make an extra buck. Is it $485 for a valve job on just one head? That seems a bit high. I'd spend a little extra and just get ported heads. They should come with new valves.

If you do end up paying for it, I'd do as sporty79 suggests and send your heads off for a port job. That $485 will nearly pay for it and it won't feel like pissing money away.
