The paint set will bolt up, but they are not the same.
The 07 FXD has the speedo mounted to the bars, so you only have the gas cap and gauge on the gas tank.
The 07 FXDC has the speedo mounted on the tank, as well as the ignition switch, gas cap and gauge.
It would be somewhat costly to change from one tank to the other because of the new hardware needed.

Jmpan,
Many thanks for your help you have saved me a lot of money and problems,i was buying a paint set from a guy on Ebay and he said it would fit my model ok,he must of made a mistake.

I seen a Dyna on here it was two tone, Dragon Fly Green pearl / Vivid Black and i loved the paint work,so im just going to get my own parts painted the same.
This is one great forum and very helpful and friendly
