Down here in Florida, where we can ride yearround, the dealers are still asking a lot. I couldn't wait for cheaper prices. I HAD to have the Dark Blue pearl. 17,000 otd. I checked several of the dealers in central Florida. I got what I wanted. And then some. I even got a bad trade for my old VRod.

Pretty pricey her in SoCal also. Been running around today looking for a Black Denim with mid-mount controls. Saw OTD prices ranging from 17,700 through to 19,200 and not a lot of dealing going on [&o].

I think if i can get as close to 17 as possible, I'll be doing okay.

Anybody else here in SoCal got any other experiences?

Cheers,
-Jack

Out the door for me (including tax and fees) was $16,700. I got $200 off MSRP for the denim, but still paid the $700 or so freight/setup and added the alarm. I had about $700 in taxes and title fees. (The $15,900 above sounds about the same as my deal.)

Honestly, I wasn't too concerned about the price; I wanted that bike and I didn't want to wait until I found a better deal. I thought the dealer (Patriot) treated me very well and I've been back and spent over $3k since then (I have a card for some 10% credit back on purchases). I am sure others will pay less; but that won't change how I feel about the bike on bit.

Don't forget the TAX man! add another 8% for Columbis County NY.

I just canceled my order for a Fat Bob today as I went shopping with the wife, and we stopped at the dealer to pick up some gifts for family, and they done started talking to my wife, and then made me a deal I could not turn down on a RoadKing Classic.

Check LA Harley, they sell at MSRP, I will hopefully be picking up a vivd black tomorrow.
All bikes on floor show add ons and fees, you try and negotiate from there. They will give you a $1000 g/c with purchase of an 08 from stock models. They can apply the $1000 towards purchase.
