alright i am going to go with polished alum spokes with the black center hub and outer rim... thanks guys! my bike is black cherry what would you think about if i went black chrome outer rim, gloss black center hub and spokes, with chome nipples?
I need your opinion...
I can not find a 17in twisted spoke ANYWHERE for under 200 bucks! i found a set 19in twisted that will fit on the front for 65 bucks with nipples but i can not find the one for the 17! i have a brand new tire on the back so relacing to a 16in hub is not an option. do you think it will look stupid to have my rim and hub powdercoated in gloss black and have the front done in twisted spoke and rear in standard chrome? i just think it will not balance... it would prob work if the front was a 21 but not the stock 19... will it look stupid? anyone know where i can get a set of 17in twisted spokes?! i have called EVERYWHERE! found once place HDWheels and they watn 2XX.00 for 40 spokes! that is nuts! any other ideas... the only other thing i can think of is doing my rim in black chome, hub and spokes gloss black and chrome nipples... tearing it down this weekend and need advice!

Now those are some badass wheels. I might just like those better than any chromed billet wheels I've ever seen. Those are probably just as expensive though aren't they?
those twisted spokes look sick ... but where i live they would just act as magnets for all the cow **** i have to ride through ...
Joe ... they would look great on your glowing machine ... don't settle for something else as you'll end up buying them anyways in six months time ... remember we told you so if you go for the polished spokes and change your mind later !
Boy Howdy!! I sure do like the looks of that blue scoot. A friend of yours own that? Tell 'em I said nice scooter. I reckon it would take 3 times the work to keep them clean.
BTW, like the new sig pic,"How aboutthem cowgirls........"

Actually that would be Howdy Girl in the sig. YeeeeaHaaa.
I'll pass the compliment on regarding the BlueScoot.
That's one of the guys I ride with.
When he gets over here he always starts out the conversation
by complaining about my driveway as he wipes off the machine.
He's talking about gettin some 160 spoke wheels
or 180 or somethin.

But I bet you knew that, and were just pullin' my chain. So has he 'volunteered' to help you put down some cement, blacktop, pavers, etc. to help keep his bike clean?
well i did it... dusted off the old credit card and spent a forturne on twisted spokes for the front and rear as well as soom new brake pads... wheels are coming off this weekend and the bike will be taken apart for the final push on winter project work... it will be exacly as i want it (all but paint) by the end of next month! you guys are right... unless i do it how i want it it will never be right! i will look at it and say I WISH I WOULD HAVE... well i did... ill post pics when it is done... gloss black center hub and rim, twisted spokes chrome... should look sick!
