Default will this look like crap!???

I need your opinion...
I can not find a 17in twisted spoke ANYWHERE for under 200 bucks! i found a set 19in twisted that will fit on the front for 65 bucks with nipples but i can not find the one for the 17! i have a brand new tire on the back so relacing to a 16in hub is not an option. do you think it will look stupid to have my rim and hub powdercoated in gloss black and have the front done in twisted spoke and rear in standard chrome? i just think it will not balance... it would prob work if the front was a 21 but not the stock 19... will it look stupid? anyone know where i can get a set of 17in twisted spokes?! i have called EVERYWHERE! found once place HDWheels and they watn 2XX.00 for 40 spokes! that is nuts! any other ideas... the only other thing i can think of is doing my rim in black chome, hub and spokes gloss black and chrome nipples... tearing it down this weekend and need advice!

The rear is pretty much covered up with sprockets and belts and beltguards and rotors and calipers. You're probably the only one that would notice.
go for it.

If I'm reading correctly, the only difference is the kind of spokes? If so, I agree with Tommy, most of it is covered up. Besides as long as your moving nobody will be able to tell

But, the fact that you have already questioned the looks, means that you will never be happy with the looks.............
At least that is the way it works with me............

I am to **** about attention to detail so that would bug me if it was my bike unless I knew it would eventually match. I agree with Clutch, if you have to ask here it will probably always bug you. I say either drop the cash for the matching rears or just go with standard polished stainless. I went with those and they look alot better then the stock ones.

Joe, I gotta agree with the others. I'm the same way. There are things nobody would probably ever notice but me but I notice them and that's what matters. For exampe, I just put some new front pegs on my bike. They are huge and they don't make a smaller version for the rear so I thought I could live with the plain old ISO pegs that matched my ISO fronts I took off. The passenger pegs stay folded up 99% of the time anyway. Well, it kept gnawing at me anyway so I ordered some more compatible pegs today.

If I were you, I'd save myself some stress and keep looking or bite the bullet and shell out the cash needed to do it how you really want it done or you'll wish you had.

I have to admit something that just shows how **** my mind can be sometimes. When I installed my Kuryakyn front signal clamps, I couldn't find the bolts I needed anywhere until I found 2 mismatched ones at a Harley Store. One is shorter and I think has a different head on the bolt. They absolutely cannot be seen unless the clamps are taken apart and the signal lights removed. But, it still bugs me enough that they are that way, I want to find 2 that match and replace them.

On something like this, like everyone else said, if you have to ask, you already know the answer. You need to wait and find what your looking for. Even if it looked ok, your gonna feel like you had to settle and end up not liking it. Hold out for exactly what you want.
