****************************************

If a Dyna wrap around fender made for a 160 rear tire will fit around my 180...

is the fender an easy swap? A one for one swap?

Same fender struts (or whatever they are called)?

****************************************
bryan, the strut covers are different.

Measure the distance between the struts,
(width of the fender)
and I'll tell you if it is a straight over swap.

Also need to know distance between the fender bolts,
front to back, on one side.

I want to add some apes (not sure what size yet) and a wrap around fender to my Fat Bob. I bought it with this intention...so now I want to get a game plan. Since I'm new to the HD world I need some guidance. Obviously, for the apes I would need extended brake lines, clutch lines, wiring, etc. Anything else? Will a SB wrap around rear fender work? It was made to clear a 160 rear tire...I have a 180. What else would I need for the fender swap?
Bought a denim black wrap around fender today off of Ebay for about $90 shipped. Now, I need to find some new strut covers.

You need a few other parts as well.

Picture below should be the parts you have now.
Need the corresponding parts from 06-8FXD, FXDC, FXDB, etc

Taillite should be the same,
you just turn it upside down.

Yep, I've been looking for those. I want to get the Cycle Vision black taillight eliminator for it, kinda pricey though.

And, whatever license plate bracket.

I suggest having a look at the HOGRIDA fabrication if
you are considering on the fender mounting.

The taillight elimator will take care of all that.

I cant post pics worth a crap, but if you look at the other pics on that site for the other bikes like the baggers, it the same idea. It basically just mounts in the stock location of the taillight.
