Chrome Dog Dawg Bone 6" Risers
-w/ Rubber Grommets
-machined of solid steel and chromed rubber -grommets in riser top vibration damper
- 6" inch rise
-fits 1" inch bars
I know that lolife has warned me against Debrix Cycles in another post, and I'm planning on taking his advise, however these risers look pretty interesting. Just wondering if anyone here has used them or something like them?
DougsDyna: Yes, I'm sure there is. There's probably more than one vendor for this style riser. I know that Paughco has some like it as well.
VenturaChop:
Ya, but the rubber grommet "cushions" have me a bit skeptical. I was just wondering if they actualy work, or if they feel sloppy, or if they get softer or stiffer over time, or if they suck altogether..........or whatever. I have no experience with them so I'm looking for some experienced feedback.
I too like the Fat Bob look and have priced it out.
Handlebar:
56959-08 $149.00
Clamp:
56898-08 $67.30
Risers:
59783-08 (x2) $92.95
$185.90
That's $402.20 to get the Fat Bob set-up from the dealer. That's pretty expensive for stock drag bars and risers. That's why I'm checking out the alternatives. The dog bones pictured above would make a nice and cheap alternative to the Fat Bob risers, especially if powdercoated black. That's why I'm looking for feedback.
