I ordered V&H Big Radius pipes, Stage 1 kit, and SERT. I heard the V&H Big Radius on an 05 WG and loved it, but I am still waiting for the 06's to come in. I have been told they should be here around Jan 15.
Congrats on the new bike. I have a Vivid Black 06 WG also, so I think your bike is awesome! I did a stage one with SEII slashcut slip ons, SE high flow A/C, and the download cartridge. sounds and runs great.
I appreciate all the advice you guys have given me. I really like the deep rumble of the 2 into 1 exhaust, but I'm not so sure about the look. After that, it's between the V&H Big Radius' and the Short Shots staggered. I've heard the short shots on another wide glide and absolutely loved it. That's probably what I'll be going with. I also plan on getting a SERT or PCIII, a better AC, and maybe a hypercharger, but I'm not sure if it's worth it. Once again, thanks for all the advice. I'll post pictures in about 2 months when I pick her up.
I have another question for you guys. What about the price? I paid $16,212 with only tax and tags left to pay. I feel like it was a good deal, but I never contacted the dealership back in the states to ask them. I am going to later today, but I was just curious as to what you all think about it.
I finally got the chance to call a couple of dealers back in the states and they both told me that the bike alone (no freight, no alarm, etc) would come out to $18,500, so I'm really happy with my deal. I think I've also decided on what pipes to get.... V&H Short Shots Staggered, it was between those and some Rinehart 2-into-1's. I should be ordering those within the next few weeks, along with a power commander and a SE A/C. Of course more mods will be to follow, but they'll have to wait for tax return time.
