Best thing you coule do is take a look.. You can most likely see the radius arm bushing hanging out if its the problem.. Its usually the passenger side due to the cat being near by.. The replacements are polly urethane and much better.. I would also jack up the front end and wiggle the wheels to check for play side to side. The gearbox on those rarely gives a problem, so the tire rods would be my next guess.. You can pinpoint it pretty easlily if you get someone to help you wiggle while you look.. I would also check the "rag" joint in the steering collumn, under the hood.
