From the looks of it lotta bike for 6k.I also had a evo with over 100k miles still running strong when traded it for 06. The mechanic told ya right it just good and broken in now. Dont know drwest how you rode your evo to have it tore up at 60k but I didnt baby mine in them 100k miles and no top end even.

This isn't directed at anyone in this thread, so please don't take it the wrong way. But when I was buying my bike and asking friend's for advice, I quickly learned that the guys that don't ride much think 10,000 miles is alot. The guys that ride alot say 20-30,000 is nothing.

That's not good or bad. I'm not saying the guys that ride alot know more. It's just a different perception.

Good luck. I don't know if this will help but I have seen bikes with that kind of mileage for thousands more. Real good advice in hear too.

Check out the cylinder base gaskets for leaks. They were known for that.

Looks like a nice well maintained bike. Offer less $ for it and see if they will take it, even at $5995 it still looks like a pretty good deal.

I still kick myself when I didn't check out a Springer with 20,000+/- miles on it that was for sale for $7000 a few years ago.

that is something that the evo is notorious for is base gaskits especially the rear jug on the primary side.If its weeping no big deal really.but to have gaskit replaced prob looking at 2 to 300 dollors to have dealer replace.
