Default Sta-Bil

Rookie question here but ya gotta learn some where. I recently put Sta-Bil into the tank for the winter. With this nice weather I wanted to take her out. Do I need to place more sta-bil in after I take her out and top off the tank?

Thanks

Depends on how much gas you used. I took mine out for a couple miles and did not top off. Just hooked battery tender back up and covered and prayed for another nice day in Chicago.

I used 2 oz to 5 gallons. So if you didn't use that much gas I wouldn't worry about it.
This time of year I take a 5 gallon can, put 2oz of Sta-bil in it and fill it up. I use it for everything this time of year, snowblower, bike, lawn mower, whatever.

If it is going to be sitting any length of time I would.

Ditto on Sea-Foam. Ranks right up there with WD-40 IMHO.

Top it off if you used more than 1/3 of a tank. Then just add 1 oz of stabil.

I did the same thing. When you top off, use the formula on the Sta-Bil to figure out how much more to add. After seeing to posts, next year, I think I'm going to try Seafoam if I can find it.
