I always have used Sta-Bil. Why would I want to use Seafoam instead?

 

Besides being an excellent fuel stablizer, it is a fuel system cleaner and removes carbon build-up in the heads, etc

Hey all, down here in Texas we get a nice day every week or so to ride, sometimes more, sometimes less...should I be using Seafoam or Sta-Bil for 1 - 2 weeks of downtime, or is this for very extended periods of not riding. Thanks!!

 

i use stabil myself.for 1 or 2 wks you dont need to add anything.month or longer prob good idea

 

I fill my tank every winter, install StaBil and ride a few miles and put it away with the Tender on the battery. First nice day, I'm out again. I always top off the tank again after a winter ride.
