06bob- I'm sorry if my personal preference to handlebars offended you. In my post I went out of my way so as not to direct my opinion at any one individual. In your opening post you asked for pros/cons. I suggest that next time you reword your questions to read something like: Who agrees with me because that is all I want to hear? I don't get into "pissing contests" so you are on your own there. I hope that whatever bars you choose for your bike give you the look that you desire.
Since we're making suggestions, let me suggest next time you try not to come across as a know-it-all @sshole.

I like a flat track style bar. It's like a buck horn with a little less pull back, it looks good, it's comfortable to me and provides excellent leverage which makes steering easier.

+1.... I put these on my Super Glide and it's much more comfortable all around. Better handling, better looking, not too much of a reach. Nice and wide. Now, you street bob guys have an advantage with tank mounted gauges that you can try any riser/bars/clamps you want. If I had a street bob I would be tempted to try something with an integrated riser like the Wild 1s. You can have drag bars without a long reach. I'm supportive of either option; I'm happy with the track bars and to me they look and feel the way a motorcycle should.

while you guys pitch and catch and have crazy make up sex i think i'm gonna look into wild 1 chubby drag bars. Fit and comfortmay be a concern on long rides as i'm told from others with drags. They are advertised for a soft tail but i think they will fit the stock risers on the dyna. then i'm gonna step back and stare at it for a long time cause i like the look.thanks for the input all.

+1 for buckhorns, but there are a variety of 'buckhorns' out there...mine don't sweepback so much and a are wide, I put 2" pulback risers on that don't make my speedo stick out and all and all I'm happier except the dam risers cost more than the bars!

The Drag bar's are gonna make you stretch out your arm's and lean forward some more... Will also affect how your seat feels.. (back support) I would suggest trying a Friend's Dyna with drag bars...Softtails have a different Rake so not quite the same...

I don't have the same speedo issue that you do. But I like the look that you have there.

I seem to enjoy trying a bunch of different bars, such an easy switch, totally different look and feel. Fun to play around with. I have found that I like the traditional handlebar shape for great feel, best control, and classic 60slook. Like Rockstar said, the "flat track" bar. The Dyna has such a traditional basicsimple bike design....all function, no spaceship looking crap,no plastic body, nor any pretense of an older bike look (softails). The flat track bar on a Dyna is a nice look and a great basic ride without drawing so much attention, nice forriding aroundthe city at night when I dont want it to be noticedparked in the shadows, but still radiates beauty in the full light of day.

I put the Wild1 501's on my Wide Glide and I really like them. Yes, I was going for a different look that I really liked. But, they are also comfortable to me. My hands are actually in just about the same place as with the original mini-apes, but at a different angle to the bike, more perpendicular to the frame. Someone else in this thread mentioned the same thing, and it is also more comfortable to me that way too.
