Got some saddle bags, now I need to either relocate the rear turn signals, or drill a whole in the fender, something, just not sure of all my choices.
Did a bunch of searches on the internet, in this forum and another.
Any pictures, links, and ideas would be appreciated, just not the HD kit.
I'm also pretty sure I want the license plate to be a laydown type, unless something really catches my eye. Open to all suggestions, and all are appreciated.
Best one I've seen, and I wish I had seen it before I did mine, was the rear tail light with integrated turn signals. Nice, neat, clean. I can't recall where I saw it, but I believe it was on this forum. The Moco kit looks ok - better than stock; but I still might do the integrated if I see where to get it again.
Above is the link to my post has pic of my relocation with laydown license plate, i now have red lens caps on the signals and it all blends together and looks good, i will be doing some more work and get some better pics in next week.

RE: Rear Turn Signal Relocation Options?
Hey, O.S.
Mine is the bar, just like yours except I didn't go with the lay-down kit. Did your fender rail recesscovers come with the light bar or the lay-down kit? Or is it one in the same? I'm hoping to get a fender rack in the future, thats why I went stand up on the plate.
Should I ask the stealer why I didn't get recess covers with my kit?

Travlinman, you may want to reconsider mounting them on the fender itself. There have been posts by guys here have done it and regretted it. The fender didn't have the rigidity to support the signals causing paint and sheet metal damage. Maybe the fabrication of a backing plate would prevent this.
I believe the strut covers came with the laydown kit but i could be mistaken and they might have come with the docking hardware kit that i bought for my Detachable sissybar. Dam i can't remember i put them both on at the same time.

I would definitely ask. My covers came with the detachable backrest/relocation kit. I have an extra set that I'd be willing to part with for the cost of shipping.
You can put on a fender mounted rack with the HD laydown license plate kit. I had to buy the strut block offs seperately. They were only a couple dollers. But the chrome job on them is not too good.
When I put bags on my 07 Low Rider I went with the integrated laydown plate and turnsignal relocation kit from Harley, p/n 60215-06, I think, IMHO that it looks very clean and like it came right from the factory that way.
