I can't figure out where a strange knocking is coming from. The bike runs great but you can hear a clunk every so often. Changed the front isolator, adjusted the primary chain, and serviced everything...clunk is still there...only 8k miles. I'm hoping is coming from the oil pump or one of the cam chains.
Any ideas befor I have to shell out some dough?

depend on the rattle tc88 have what i call a chirp that comes from the rockers and is normal for HD seems worse after i put in SYN3 it its something else or if you are worried about it try to find a good Indy to have a look and let them hear it and see what they say the dealer will more than likely tell you there is nothing wrong with it while it's under warranty but when it's not under warranty they find all kind of things that need fixing. but i found a trust worthy Indy and let them do all the work i can't. and they are a hell of lot cheaper.

You didn't say what year but from your screen name is it a 2000? If so it might be the cam bearings starting to go. As critter said I'd get it checked asap. Whole lot cheaper to fix whatever it is now than after the fact.
