Default FALLING OFF 06 ST. BOB

Every time I hit the gas I had the feeling I was falling off. I ended up putting on 3/4" longer shocks on the rear and dropped the front 1".
I also put a 18" by 3.5" rim on the front with a 140 metzler. No more dreams of a corbin seat and back rest...It feels normal...
i.e. i'm not falling off though I frequently pin it....
The fat front tire stabilizes the ride... Drag bars and big front tire....floats over big tire eating cracks....
SPREAD THE KNOWLEDGE....IT'S THE POWER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ANDRE'

p.s. this bike has the excile look without the $ 40 k & rigid details... People pass on 50 k bikes to check out my street bob.

Lowering the front couldn't be easier...you need to support the bike with something so the front end dosen't collapse. I use a pit bull lift..
Spray the upper fork tubes with something like wd-40. Loosen the 4 bolts that hold the tubes in the triple trees with the tork bit. Carerful with the last one !!! When you get it where you want it tighten the bolts and torque them to proper specs. (tight but don't break the bolt)

There must be very straight roads where you live...I spend most of my time riding over the twisty highway 154 here in Cali. and had big problems with dragging the stock pipes and bracket. I looked back one night after hearing a funny noise and was leaving a 100 ft. trail of sparks...
Now I only scrape a peg once in a while and have never dragged my thunderheader...MUCH BETTER!!!

Thanks for the reply...pictures coming ASAP...good luck with the bike !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Later Andre'

If you don't have a camera. Draw a sketch and post it. A picture is worth a thousand words. Your sketch might be worth a hundred. Your description is worth nothing. hahaha, just kidding.

I really want to see what your bike looks like cause I'm about to get new chrome rims for my dyna and want more meat in the front. But I've been told that it would ruin the handling of the bike when leaning (with a smaller 18 in. front wheel) and make low speed steering difficult. Any thoughts? anyone?

OH MY GOD !!! IT'S A HARLEY !!!! SLOW DOWN !!!! You must be kidding !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I drove a drz-400 supermoto before anyone knew what one was . To say this bike owned the canyons was an understatement....
To ride a bike that has never been passed and then ride a harley and watch people fly by !!!!! Are you kidding !!!!!!!
Harleys can perform ....ELEC. GLIDE OR ST BOB....You are not passing me !!!!! PERIOD !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

P.S. Long ago I was the guy who crashed trying to catch up with fast boys......
About a month ago I had a Ninga 600 fly off a cliff trying to catch my supermoto, I couldn't help think if someone had a camera, that would be the best crash I saw ever.... OH WELL LATER ANDRE'
