So now I have the high end air filter K&N 3909 120$
Bought the power commander 3 for 225$ with shipping.
Now I am ready all these post about having it Dyno Tuned to get the correct map for my setup. Whats the cost of that? 2-3 hundred?
I thought that the power commander and air filter upgrade was all I needed for a stag1.
Anyway, do you guys reccomend getting the dyno tuned as well?
does the K&N kit fit under your airbox lid?
yes, no problem. fit like a glove. i bought it at autozone. they had to order it bit if you order it by 3 they will have it next day for free. so you just pay the 109 +TAX

So, you paid over 100 bucks for just a filter when you could have gotten an entire stage 1 a/c kit with a K&N filter for about the same price? Duuuuuuddde?????????
I've yet to hear if anyone has verified it positively, but if the filter that comes with the Arlen Ness kit isn't a K&N filter, K&N should be sueing whoever makes it for copyright infringement.
Put an a/c kit on that bike and let it breath and take advantage of the other things you've added.
I thought that what jamie from fuelmoto said. He said this was a better kit to get. I am glad I got the right thing. i want to pull my hair out.
Thanks
Sorry, I am the one confused then. Sounds like you are on your way. I don't know that I'd say it's a better kit to get but it's as good as any for sure.

No worries, the only reason I know the answer to that question, is because I have one.
if you got pipes air cleaner and a power commander go for the dyno but unless your racing or downloading bad maps you might not notice the difference....
