Was thinking about throwing on some V&H pipes and was looking at their Fuelpack - what goes with the disclaimer that it is for Offroad purposes only and not legal for use in the State of California - you can't be freaking serious

 

They include that to stay in the good graces of the



Once the fuel/air ratio is richened up, these Harley's no longer meet their emissions guidelines.

 

As I'm sure you are aware, California has a whole set of more restrictive laws regarding vehicle emissions. The fuelpak won't allow your bike to meet those standards so they aren't allowed to sell it in Cali. However, where there is a will, there is a way (ebay). And, if there is ever an issue with inspection and your bike not passing an emissions test, you can always pull the fuelpak fairly easy, and whatever else you'd need to put back on the bike to pass the inspection and then reinstall.

Look at it this way, there is a lot of stuff that says "not for street use" as well, but it doesn't stop thousands of us from running it on the street.
