Thanks for the complements guys. FYI if interested:

Original seat bottom:


Cut to fit, note on the bottom of the left cut there is extra space made for one of the bolts on the frame. Also what you can't see is where on the left and right rear of the set I removed about 4" x .5" of plastic that would hit the fender rail.

I like that alot. "Super Bob" does have a nice ring to it, better get a copyright on it before the MoCo does! Only thing I'd change on your bike, the way it sits, is to angle the bars back in line with the fork angle, for an example look at Jackyl's bike, the post just above this one. But yeah that's a slick nickel alright!

this is promising for me as there is a stock 08 Dyna seat i would like to get for my ride.
Did you cover up the cuts with something to maybe help against water saturation if in the rain or washing the bike?

I just stuck it on there for now - it doesn't rain much here anyway and I never use a powerwasher on the bike.

When I re-cover the seat I'll probably put some plastic under there.

BTW, you may not need to cut as much as I did, good luck!
