Okay, I know this is Bass Ackwards, but can you put mid controls on a Fat Bob?
I beleive they come standard with forward controls. I am looking to get my wife in to a Harley. I am leaning towards a Dyna Low, but that Fat Bob is so sharp. I just feel she would do better with mid controls.
No cost difference. You will probably have to call a few dealers to find mids. I almost ordered one thru AAFES while deployed. With them I could only get mids for some reason. I prefer forwards. Good luck.
She is new to bikes. First she is going to get a Honda Rebel or something I won't cringe when/if it hits the ground. She is anxious to get into a Harley though, and I am anxious for a second bike for me I have always heard great things about the Dyna handling.
I like the Nightster for her, but if she wants to go on some longer rides with me I think a Dyna would be tons more comfortable. She likes the Low Rider, but I think with Mids and a handlebar change the Fat Bob is something a little different and still fit her like a Low Rider.
I just got an 08 Street Glide, so I figure why not give Harley all my cash and get her a cool bike too! Not to mention it is a second bike for me as well. That is why I am wanting something with a little different look than the Low Rider. Nothing against Low Riders. They scream HARLEY, but that Fat Bob is a mean looking machine.
