I put my short shots on and couldn't be happier. It sounds and performs awesome. I bought the quiet baffles as well just in case it was too loud. It is not too loud but should I put the quiet baffles in? Anyone have the same and thought it sounded better with the quiet baffles? Not sure if the signature will show up but I have a 08 lowrider with the PCIII and arlenness big sucker. I'll post pics in the morning
No first hand experience with the short shots, Scott. I just installed a set of big radius on my own bike, but there is a few members of this board who have recently installed SS's, then later installed the quiet baffles and say the pipes sound even better!
Sounds like you have er beat!... Ben.
I installed a set of short shots on my bike last spring... running with the regular baffles. It seems like the more miles I put on them the better they sound.
I have had the same experience revolution. I installed about a year ago with regualr baffles, and I think it sounds awesome. I have wondered about the queit baffles, most say they so not lower (quiet) the tone but make it deeper at teh same loudness. I love how mine sound now.
but then again if you already bought the baffles put them in and check them out, you can always replace the stock ones
Just installed V & H Slip ons. I put the Quiet Baffles into them right out of the box so I don't know what the Standard Baffles sound like. I can tell you this, nothin' quiet 'bout em. The instructions claim 2 -3 db reduction. They sound awesome!
