I just got off the phone with Phat Performance Parts, nice enough guy to deal with on the phone but what he was telling me is that the "P" pad for the LePera "bare Bones" has been discontinued.Anybody know for a fact if this is true? What about the "P" pad for the Silloette? would that work? it looks the same. I know I could get one of those Bates "P" pads and that would probably look alright but I'd have to drill 4 holes in my fender to mount it, not looking for more holes in my fender.Anybody got a better idea?
OK here's the thing, my wife, who has been riding her own bike for 10 years wants to ride on the back of my Harley.Me personally, I'd be happy to leave it solo only.I guess what I'll have to do is buy the next used Lowrider seat that someone want's to sell.
I use the phantom P pad.....with suction cups............... . .my wife has rode several thousand miles with it.................. .she doesnt like it........but she rides........................... . . ..........
Ed, would you like me to send you my Phanton P pad, with suction cups........ should go well with the pegs[sm=smiley2.gif]. Only been sat on once by my older brother last summer.......... I went to visit him and made him ride b!tch to the restaurant[sm=laughingsmilie.gif]
Do you know this to be true for 06 and later Dynas? the bolt holes are different and are they still making them? how long ago did you get one? I think for now I'll try that suction cup model from Doug.
I ordered my "P" pad on the third, I just today called them to to find out what was taking so long.I figure I can take the wife out for a ride with the suction cup "P" pad if she likes it I can buy something more permanent later. But in the mean time I can spend my money on suspension upgrades and continue riding the hell out of it in the lighter and better looking solo mode.
