Damn! I hope their QC has improved! I have heard all good things, until now, about Corbin seats. The ones I've seen have been very well crafted. I'll post up once I get it - hopefully a positive post. Better be for the friggin' price!

Mine took about 4 weeks............really poor craftmanship, too. I won't buy another Corbin by order. I would hae to see and touch, first.
Don't expect it to just fit right on the mounts either, had to purchase spacers and ashers to make mine work.
Very comfortable seat, though................ Maybe their quality control has improved in the past 2 years.

Ordered a Hollywood solo thru ebay today. I certainly hope I dont need to hunt down ashers to mount it [:@]!
I would'nt know where to begin looking .

Cheers... Ben.

I really think and would hopemy experience was the exception, and not the norm. I did read a lot of negatives about Corbin's in 2006, though.

I ordered a dual tour last july and the uk distributor has still not received it!!! [:@]apparently mine is not the only one that has been this long as well.

Without a doubt the best seats on the market (have put them on most of my bikes) but 6 months for a seat? now looking at alternatives as I only want to put it on when I do long two up trips.

Maybe we just get the s**t end of the stick here in Europe

The ashers were hard to find, but I did eventually find them in a drawer below the pacers, at Lowes.

If any of you guys have any questions... Lemme know. Even if you just want to check the status, lemme know.

If you oreder a plain jane black seat, chances are, I have 'er in stock, and you'll meet for the first time in around a week and a half's time.

If you order some custom touches like colored welts, or stitching, exotic skins, etc etc, then you're waiting around four weeks in time.

Some times the transit takes a few days, some times over a week. In stock, can come from East or West Coastm but if I have to build it, it comes from Cali every time.

I bought two Corbin seats in the last couple of years, one for a Sportyand another for my Dyna. Both arrived within two weeks. Quality and fit top notch.

Mine came in about 10 days. This time of year, you should get it in less than 2 weeks.

Good news! Seat came today and is already on the bike. I'm very happy with the results and the saddle quality. Haven't taken her out yet, but it is extremely comfortable, and the "close" version is perfect for me.
