Just ordered a "close" solo set up from Corbin yesterday. Really looking forward to putting it on. They told me 3-4 weeks...Any experience here? Are they just managing my expectations? I was a bit shocked, given that you can ride in and go home with a new, custom seat same day...Thanks.
my buds "custom" seat from corbin is the seat from hell. maybe just an isolated case but it was more like 3-4 months. [:@] it is a bad a$$ seat but [sm=WTFsgign.gif]
I wouldn't hold ur breath.
It's very dependent on the time of year you order and what it is you order. If you order the kind of seat they stock it'll go out in days. If you order something else, they build it just for you. I bought mine in the Fall; they quoted three weeks and in three weeks it arrived.
It's a nice seat and you'll ride it for the next decade -- what's a couple or three weeks?
Mine took about 4 weeks............really poor craftmanship, too. I won't buy another Corbin by order. I would have to see and touch, first.
Don't expect it to just fit right on the mounts either, had to purchase spacers and washers to make mine work.
Very comfortable seat, though................ Maybe their quality control has improved in the past 2 years.
