Just got my passenger pillion off ebay. I saved 20$ after shipping on this so its pretty good.
Anyway after the install was done by piggy backing the pillon to the back of the stock seat and moving it around it does not feel stable in the middle where they connect. You can lift it a little in the middle and there is nothing holding it to the frame of the bike.
The bike is a little dirty and needs to be cleaned but anyway there is a pic posted.
Looks normal. I have one for my Super Glide and it looks and attaches the same way. Got no complaints from the wife when she rode on it and it felt steady.
Try mounting it with the pillion mounting tab both on top of and underneath the seat mounting tab it'll probably be more secure one way than the other.
there is a piece of leather strap that hooks to the fender under the seat that hold down the middle between the seats
sorry dont have a pic but thats the way mine is
yes, there is rear mounting point but only the rear of the pillon. There is none at the end of the stock seat because it is held together by a plastic piece and 2 screws.

Mine did not come with a strap but I guess that can be ordered seperate.
OK. i just wanted to make sure it was on right and my passengers were not going to tip over.
I have one for my BOB. I bought a mustang solo soon after and just keep the pillion attached to the stock seat. I don't like the fact that the pillion attachment bolt screws in to the plastic.
It feels like the bolt will strip out really easy. I've only used it a few times. The wife rides her own scoot now. I don't use my grab strap if I can find it , do you want it? PM me.
I think I have the installation instructions too.
I modified mine due to that very reason. I went to the dealer and picked up another seat bracket for the stock seat and mounted it to the passenger pillion. I took my dremel and ground out a Y in the pillion front mount bracket so that it slips under the back of my seat without hitting the original chrome seat mount bracket. I also picked up another thread insert to mount in the rear hole and another seat screw from the dealer. I went to the local Hobby Lobby and picked up some 1 1/2 " suction cups and drilled 2 small holes thru the plastic seat pan of the pillion and installed the suction cups. Now I have a quick remove pillion that is comfy for the GF and easy to remove by removing the one rear screw and popping loose the suction cups. It doesn't move and my seat never has to come off to solo it out.
