I wish to sell the 2-up, ribbed seat that came with my 2007 Super Glide Custom. The seat is in brand new condition with only about 500 miles of sitting on it. I wish to sell it on eBay. However, I don't know how to price it because I cannot find this seat on the Harley-Davidson website or anywhere else. Can anyone tell me the list price for the 2-up ribbed seat that came with my 2007 Super Glide? Shipping will be about $25-$30 via FedEx Ground but I need to know the list price so I candiscount price the seat.
Your best bet is to give a full description including all bikes it will fit and start a 7 day auction at a low price (like 9.99).
Thats what I would do anyway.
List price on most the vinyl OEM seats is about $200.00. You can't realistically expect to get any where near that much. They sell on eBay for $50.00 to $75.00 on average. I would list it as wkdavistx suggested.
I picked one up off a forum memember for 50 bucks plus 10 shipping. Be glad you get anymore than that for it. And the shipping is a little crazy too.........It's not like your shiping it from overseas. Better recheck that............
Another forum member just gave his to me for free. I didn't even pay the shipping. It's not a bad seat, but good luck selling it when there are far better seats out there. I would pay $50 for the seat if I had to buy it again... and I wouldn't pay more to ship it.
