I think its silly looking why on earth do you need 4 head pipes on a twin? Extra weight extra back pressure, extra complexity.Throw in a couple extra cylinders, maybe but for now I'll pass.
i dont think it looks silly at all.
and if u get down to thinking about it, it works just like valves, (4 smaller valves flow more then 2 big valves). the 4 smaller 1 3/8 inch pipes flow more air then 2, 2" pipes will. there isnt any extra weight, if anything its less, the exhaust cant weight more then 10 lbs. and in order to get big power out of bikes you need a certain amount of backpressure, so the split of the pipes into 4 give what you need, so u can pretty much run no baffle and still make torque.

hmmm i was on the website and im thinking that i might go for it and see if they fit. if not im sure a few sloptail guys around my way might want em.
Post back and let us know, I have always liked Hooker Headers.
i litterly just put a set on my bike earlier today..they bolted right up no problems, except the lower pipe on the back cylinder is resting on my oil fill cap. Do any of you know of a low profile type cap i can use for clearance issues?
