Does anyone else like the Hooker Header pipes? I see they only make this for the sloptails. I've tried to find the manufacturer to ask about a set for my Dyna, but no luck.
I see no reason they wouldn't fit a Dyna, You would need forward controls for sure. My buddy has a dyna and we looked at it last night and decided they would fit.
I think its silly looking why on earth do you need 4 head pipes on a twin? Extra weight extra back pressure, extra complexity.Throw in a couple extra cylinders, maybe but for now I'll pass.
Why dopeople need half The crap theybolt on Harleys?..................Because They Can...........If it's not to your liking...............Who Cares [&:]
Special Ed, These pipes are really cool. They go from one outlet, at the exhaust, into two smaller header pipes, and then the four header pipes go into a collector.
Gigawitz, Would be nice if your buddy tried them on his Dyna. I'm such a cheapskate, I don't want to buy a set and then be stuck. But if I knew they would fit a Dyna, I'd certainly buy a set.
How Hot does your right leg get with all four pipes coming together in one spot right next to your knee area ? Looks like alot of heat coming together in one spot next to the Oil lines. They would look cool in Black... But I think the Dyna needs the front pipe to follow down the front of the frame and how would you get to the Oil fill...
