ORIGINAL: Adrenaman

Well I just got the DL and now the bike runs like crap with the SEII slipons and the stock a/c. It sputters and doesnt run narely as well as before the DL. I have the SE a/c should i install it?
WoW????? I have the same exacct set up....SEII slash down slip ons, 06 dyna D/L, and stock A/C, and my bike does not run good, it runs great. I know of a few others on thos site with the same set up and same outcome. I am not being a d#ck, but did they do the right D/L? Could your pipes be loose? Plug wire????? I would take it back to the dealer ASAP and ask WTF. Adding the SE A/C will only lean it our further and more popping.

Well I just installed the SE a/c and WOW it runs awesome now! Very noticable increase in power and minimal poping on hard decel. I checked everything and nothing was loose I used a torque wrench on everything. I dont know why mine runs better with the SE a/c?

Not to sure about the program/down load requiements for the larger injectors. I am still wondering if you need ot install a HiPerf pump to utilize them???

Well the leaness came back today after a long ride. So I said screw it and bought a Power Commander III and had the dealer install it and dyno it. Wow now it runs like a champ! PCIII is the way to go. Im just pissed that I wasted the money on the HD DL.

I went ahead and did the full stage 1 on my Bob before I took delivery and it runs great at this point. Pipes are SEII's. Temps were near 60 and there was no popping and did not notice any flat spots, although I did take it kinda easy. We'll see as I put miles on it how it runs.
