Default Screamin Eagle Slip Ons

Can you not get Screamin Eagle slip on mufflers for the 06 Super Glide? I was looking for them on the HD website and if I look under Screamin Eagle all I see is Harley-Davidson® Slip-On Mufflers for Dyna® Models - Slash Down. The other bikes show actual Screamin Eagle mufflers. What's the difference? I'm looking for a lower cost solution to my noise, or lack of, problem. Later I want to do better exhaust, stage 1 and all that.

As a suggestion, look at Cycle Shacks. The having gotten great reviews from owners on this forum and are 1/2 the price. I believe the same slip-onswillwork on91- present Dynas.

Yellowhawk , have these mufflers on my 06 dyna the part # is 80293-99a they are slash down but I know when I got them there was a choice of slash down or slash out to the side . they have a good sound , nice rumble to them. Not sure if they are still made or not ??

80258-99A. These are the older SEIIs and they're not made that way any longer. The newer ones are more EPA compliant, less loud and you'll get less performance out of them. Throw some BCT Baffles in there and you're golden.

57springer57...I was looking on ebay and found some of these. The add says it fits 95-03 Dyna models. Did you have to do anything special to make them work on your 06? Are they much louder than stock?

If I install the older versions of the SE II Pro slip ons, I have to get the download correct?

Howdoya tell the new ones from the old ones? I just bought a 2007 FXSTC with Screamin Eagle slip-ons, what do I look for? Can the baffles be changed? I am going with a Stage 1 air filter and a PCIII. What baffles do I need?
