Mud,
Couldn't get to HDD today (pooring friggin rain), but did call. Nobody knew fer sure on the riser spacing. Jeff, back in service measured center to center on the riser bolts as 3 1/4". Gotta remember he is in a tight space, and upside down. Gotta feeling it is same as ours (I measure 3 1/2).
From what I have been able to glean off the handlebar sites, it's more than likely 3 1/2"..... Sure ain't 2" or 5".

Going to ask the guys over at the VROD forum, but don't expect an answer immediately........ they must all have jobs

DougJ
May very well be the same Doug.
I guess that it is likely.

Will be good info for future reference.

Lotsa folks are lookin for riser options,
particularly for the 06 up FXDIs.

I think the CVO Dynas have a pretty sleek riser/clamp/tachmount,
but I can't remember exactly what it looks like.
Couldn't find a good picture on the HD website.

Mud,
per the VROD owners............. riser spacing is definitely 3 1/2".
I think their bars and risers are a 1 piece setup, though. Still working on all this.

Well Doug. Seems to me you are on a quest.

Gain a tach,
150 mph speedo,
fuel gauge off the tank,
ignition switch on the tank.

Well, it looks promising today. Just got to work out the details, and see if I can get a used setup for cheap.
Just gonna have to make more visits to the HDD, and stare at more bikes........ that's painful

Maybe by Spring, I'll have it figured out......... Hey, maybe Ishould tie wrap a radiator to the front of the frame.[sm=yeahsmile.gif]

Mud,
VROD bars are1 piece, 31/2" spacing, with 4 different"clamshell"/riser heights. Not sure but think risers are fom 2-6".
Looks like, if you change the handlebars, you change the clamshell.

Doug and Mud ...

My local HarleyIndy and Shop owner is short-handed this weekend and asked if I would help him out .... putting pullback bars on an '04 V-Rod. So, I should be able to get some measurementsand a good look at the innards on the V-Rod guage cluster.I looked at the bike yesterday and it seemed like theV set-up would bolt up nicely on a '06-LaterDyna ....the wiring might well be another story!!

Biggest draw back for me )aside from money), is the handle bars/risers have to be 1 piece. This will be a project for later.
